Building the Ness of Brodgar

An opportunity to hear about the internationally important prehistoric site at the Ness of Brodgar on Orkney from the Director of the excavation project, Dr Nick Card. Set in the midst of the Heart of Neolithic Orkney World Heritage Site, Ness of Brodgar is renowned for some of the most impressive buildings of the Neolithic period in NW Europe. In this talk, various aspects of their architecture will be considered. The latest exciting discoveries will also be revealed! Special event hosted by Peeblesshire Archaeological Society.
